Do you have an old friend that you have lost touch with over the years? Do you miss him/her? Have tried but failed to find them? Well don't give up!! Here is my Story of long lost friend.
I met tony omg its been 17 years ago. I took a trip to Sea World of ohio. Went by myself - LOVED IT. The Lippizoner Stallions were there performing that summer (1989) Tony was one of the riders - he was sooo cute. I went to every show that day. Right before the last show I ventured to the hose stalls and Tony was cleaning out the "shower stall" and I started talking to him. Well when I got home i wrote tony a short note and thanked him for the chat and told him I enjoyed the show.(how school girl!!) Well he wrote me a letter back - he called me!! Well we started to hang out at the park between his shows. The summer ended and the stallion show left - never to return. Tony of course came with the show that was based in florida, and thus tony left. We stayed in touch mostly with letters and postcards. Tony always kept me up to date to where he was. Even if I hadn't heard from him in months, I would always recieve a christmas card. Thats the kind of friendship we had. Eleven years ago this month (the 13th to be exact) was the last time I Saw Tony. He happened to be in the area with the show and he called me - I ended up meeting up and visiting with him, we had a nice time. Now nine years ago was the last time I recieved anything from him . He was in Australia and was palnning on moving to england. That was the last time I heard from him. Over the years I have done internet searches, made phone calls, and contacted the horse show company and even have paid 2 companies to find him. NO LUCK - Tony fell off the face of the earth. So I thought - until The beginning of this week, I was on "my space" and I figured I would give it a try - I searched tony's name - and after scrolling through dozens of wrong people - DING DING DING we have a winner. I emailed him and we have been exchanging emails - he is iving in Washington state and I am planning a trip out there this summer. For the last 11 or so years I have had the following picture in a frame on my desk.
SO Yes Virginia, There is a Santa Claus.
