It's Gonna Be A Girl!

My colleague and his wife (who's a French professor) just found out that the baby they're expecting in November is a girl. Normally I'm not a big jump up and down over babies person, but they are a sweet couple who have had such miserable luck trying to conceive that this just seems miraclous. And I know they will be terrific parents; this isn't a trophy child or a 'we need one because everyone else has one' kid. This is going to be one very lucky bambino!

Now I have to dig out some embrodiery patterns and get busy. I haven't made a baby quilt in years.
