Voting

Dear everybody,

Election Day is one week from tonight. Do you know how you're going to vote? (Note, I did not ask WHO you are going to vote for...;) )

Voting is really a simple process, but you just need to make sure you know what to do. Please make sure you have some way of getting to the polls if you did not fill out an absentee ballot. Here's what you need to know/do:

1) Register to Vote at your current address: Minnesota and Iowa are great states, because we have same-day registration, meaning no registration deadlines. You can register AT the polls. Please make sure you have the following:
a) Photo identification
b) Something with your address where you are registering (bank statement, utility bill, paycheck, etc.)

2) Get to the polls! Minnesota polling hours are from 7 am to 8 pm. That's 13 sweet hours of voting amazement! You can find your polling location super easily by going here: http://pollfinder.sos.state.mn.us/ Figure out rides! Bring your friends!

3) Note: If you are registered at your HOME address and not your COLLEGE address, you must vote at your home polling location UNLESS you re-register at your COLLEGE voting location. Just make sure you have that ID and some official document with your address!

This is a REALLY exciting time for us young people to really make a difference in our country! Apathy only silences our voice, so GET OUT AND VOTE!

Please let me know if you have any questions!

-Max
