(no subject)
sooo...lets see.
the power cord for my computer stops working sometimes for days at a time. its so frusterating. but i think its God telling me im spending too much time on the computer. figures.
so sunday after church we went to lunch at fazolies (yuck!) but then chelc wanted to do sumthing and we were trying to think of ideas and i was like "how about straberry picking?" thinking that everyone would object, but instead they were all like "yeah! lets do it!" so we did.
we were all getting in our cars, joel and karina were infront of us, i was with ashely sarah chelc and sydeny, and kevin and caleb were behind us. so we get out of the parking lot and we're driving along and then someone looks behind us and they're like "hey...where'd caleb go? he was with kevin just a second ago...WHERE IS HE?" so we all start to look and we were like how the heck did he get into someone elses car...wait, he couldnt have, joels been infront of us the whole time...???!! so kevin pulls ahead of us beside joel and they were talking and then kevin turns around and we were so confused so i called caleb and i was like where are you? and he said "in at fazolies, i thought joel was comming to pick me up!!" what a loser. so we get to pappys and joel and karina are arguing about going there so we just started to pick strawberrys and joel karina and kevin just sit and talk the whole time (i have no idea why they even went) but we had fun. then ashely drove us to sydneys hows and we hung out there for a bit and ate our strawberries and took pictures. o man, i ate over 2 pounds of strawberries that day. i had a really bad headache after. then ashley and sarah left and me chelc and syd went for a bike ride and stopped and took picutres. then we had caregroup and mandy came and we just hung out and watched these little kids who were very disobedient and sydney cut chelc's hair (not so goodly) so i "fixed" it (not much more goodly than sydney) but chelc didnt care. then i went home
monday was the first week of my glass fusing class. i didnt really know what to expect. there are 3 other people in the class besides me and the teacher. and they're all old ladys, but they're nice. and the teacher is probably mid 40's, he reminds me so much of jake caldwell, but i cant decide why. its so funny. the class is every monday for 6 weeks from 7-9 in maitland wich means i have to miss oikos and 2b cont. but its only 3 weeks of each so thats not so bad. last nite he showed us how to cut glass. it was suprisingly easy, but we started out with regular window pane glass which is the easiest to cut. and at the end of the 6 weeks we get to make either a 10 inch square or circle!
this thursday-next friday/saturday we're going to fort wilderness to see my uncle and a whole caravan of old friends from up north. im actually excited about it, not because its a vacation or i get to see family, but just cuz its fort wilderness. i love that place. and since i didnt get to go when the church went last time i havent been there in a while. so itll be a good time to catch up on my reading and relax (all while doing school of corse) but the only downside is that i have to miss wednesday and my parents arent going to church sunday so im seeing if ashely can spend the nite saturday so she can give me a ride to church in the morning. my dad's comming down sunday afternoon to pick me up from the jamaica meeting and we're going to spend the nite at our house sunday cuz he's going to orlando for a meeting monday and i have my glass class. after that we'll go back to the campground.
