The Tattoo
This is Jo's arm in the picture, but the tattoo is more or less identical on both of us. It's a bindrune of Laguz and Jera (for Laure and Jolene, among other meanings), entwined with vines, with pansies for Poseidon and roses for Odin (both of which associations are entirely UPG).
I will be posting more photos from the trip at some point, though maybe not today since work is insane.
Also: Jolene and I both are now proud dedicants in the Chalice of Living Stars, and members of the Assembly of the Sacred Wheel. I emailed goddess_of_art on Friday asking if it was okay for us to go ahead with dedication knowing that we are actively trying to relocate to OR, and she said she was still happy to have us as members for however long we'll be around--which, realistically, will probably be at least a year, with everything we have to do before we can leave. I feel a little sad about planning to go elsewhere right after having found such a nice community--but Eugene is where we belong, it's as simple as that. We're getting that message very strongly, and we're grateful that our coven-mates are so understanding and supportive about that.
