1.1 Starting Fresh Has Never Been So Scary
FINALLY, I have the courage to join the Sims 3 legacy bandwagon! It's honestly kind of intimidating. *shy*
I'll find out if the weather outside is trying to tell me something. It's so windy outside that it's making a scary howling sound. Perfect weather to start a legacy, right?
I'm sorry these in-game shots are bad quality. I'm not sure how to make it look better. *frustrated*
This is the cutest pre-made home I've ever come across. ily house. *hugs*
Everyone should know where the name Astrid comes from, right? hehe.
Her favorites include: Classical, Blue and Stu Surprise.
I waited for Astrid to roll her first wish, so I could document it. <3
Turns out she wants to start on her Lifetime Wish.
Is it just me, or are her arms super skinny? *sigh*
Astrid: W-was that a fly!?
Astrid: Once a it lands on you there's a possibly it pooped on you. Flies pass DISEASES through their poop. How am I going to know if it pooped on me?! What if I don't feel it on me?! WHAT HAPPENS THEN?!!
With help from me, she made it safely to Wrights Reading Room.
Where she became Astrid the Fabric Fetcher. *trumpets sound*
She's either happy to be employed, or happy to be inside away from those "killer" flies.
Looking around the room I came across Ruby Broke.
(Wait, why does Ruby look skinnier in this picture than the one before?)
Ruby: Spa's are just so relaxing!
Astrid: Painting can be just as relaxing, and it's cheaper too!
Despite their differences, they ended up getting along great.
When I said that, I meant until she ditched her to read a book. *punches her*
But, It doesn't matter Astrid met one of Ruby's relatives, Buck.
His very first action after meeting her was to compliment her personality. Which is cute, but he didn't even talk to her to KNOW if that's true.
Buck: Your personality reminds me so much of my deceased wife's. She was so sweet and caring, not to mention her cooking. Oh good Lord; he spoiled me with that, ya know? I haven't had a good meal since!
Astrid: No one has ever said anything so nice to me before. *slaps forehead*
I tried to get Astrid to switch the subject, and find out more about him.
But being Astrid all she did was talk about herself which didn't help anything.
Astrid: I've never sculpted before, but it sure sounds fun.
Astrid: Maybe one day I'll be good enough to sculpt the Statue of David.
All Buck could do to respond is flirt with her.
Buck: My wife never smelled of roses, like you do ma'am.
(I hope everyone thinks he has a hillbilly voice like I do...)
Astrid: You're quite the charmer.
Buck: How about a kiss?
WAIT WHAT?!
She actually considered kissing him!
Before anything got any weirder, I sent Astrid to do some gardening.
Where she met Shirley.
Who ended up boring her to death. *sigh*
With a productive day under our belts. *sarcasm*
I can tell that Astrid feels nervous about her first day of work.
So, I calmed her nerves by creating the spare bedroom into a drafting/skill building room.
It looks good, right?
Astrid: OMGOMGOMG!! First day of work!
After completing everything that was required. All Astrid had to do is call the owner so they can determine how well she did.
Look whose house it is.
(Surprisingly or not so surprisingly you decide.)
A good review on her first job. YES! I'm blocking out the fact that it was probably rigged because Buck is obviously in love with her.
Maybe Astrid is starting to love him back?
Astrid: I'm standing in the middle of his families trailers! *squeal*
Buck: Was that a fly?
NOT FUNNY BUCK!
So you know how you're supposed to take a picture after you've remodeled a house for your portfolio? Well you know how they're always in bad spots and the pictures are always horrible, well I was able to take a picture of Buck farting! I had to put that bad boy on display, that's something to be proud of.
Paying her bills for the first time. *tear* So precious!
Astrid: What if my bills don't make it there on time?!
Astrid: Or yet, what if my bills get accused of containing toxic chemicals!
Oh Astrid, you have such an imagination.
With some down time after work, Astrid invited Buck over.
She wasted no time trying to impress him.
Which led Astrid wishing for more..
And more is what she got...
Plus a little extra.
