strangely, I too have met not one but TWO chinese girls named Irene here at UC Santa Cruz... along with the two in petaluma (you included) that I know.. that makes four.. and three of them look alike o_0 strange indeed.

that is very very weird. I only know 1 Chinese Irene, and I already thought it was weird that HER name was Irene... i guess Chinese parents like to name their daughters Irene, for some reason ^___^

haha Irene told me to read her LJ, so i am, being the cool chinese Irene that i am.
that sentence confused me.
anywho, irene, you and i are gonna do that poll and itll make front page on our wonderful newspaper. =P
