For a quarter there... I thought I was going to puke/cry/punch the t.v. Actually, I wanted to punch Rick Hamilton. Who the hell are the PISTONS to think they can actually beat the LAKERS??? They're NOBODIES and this series isn't even up for question. Rasheem Wallace, Ben Wallace, etc... yeah, no. They tried, but it's going downhill for them...
Kobe is my hero all over again. He's always been my hero, but please, someone who reads my livejournal TELL ME that you saw the 3 he made in the last minute to tie up the game?!?!?! That was nothing short of amazing. He was like 10 freaking feet behind the 3 point line too!!! I screamed so loudly I had to get water b/c my throat cracked. I know the Lakers have the potential to win at Auburn Hill-- they just need to, seriously, play as a team. What's Gary Payton doing? He's not helping. They're not unified! They weren't getting their offensive rebounds, and a lotta defensive rebounds, this game, while the Pistons were fighting for them, and that's where so many Detroit points came from. I'm sooo scared they'll do stupid things like that and not win in Detroit... :-(
No one understands how agonizing it is for me to watch the Lakers lose or trail. I'm like obsessed with them, and I have been forever. Since I was in fifth grade. That's longer than I've liked Justin!!! And I know their potential, and I know how amazing they are if they work together, so when they don't I get passionately outraged.
And oh, what was up with Hamilton's stupid face thingy?! He looks like a deformed duck.
