Nice day outside and other things
Blue skies and current temperature of 79 heading toward 85 degree highs. So with that kind of weather I had to have lunch outside. I also phoned in my order from LifeLine fitness. So for my B-day getting a pair of 36 KG (79.2 lb) Kettlebells, some TNT cables, and an Ab powerwheel. This will bring me up to owning 7 KBs. The darn things keep making me stronger so I have to get new ones. You got to hate it when something works :). I am still thinking about getting a weighted vest sometime but that will have to wait since I hit the B-day budget set by drruthiel, thanks honey :). My cousin was trying to convince me to just get an Olympic set (or two) and a power rack (cage). I may do that at some point but we will have to wait. The log press from EliteFitness did cath my eye for 2 reasons 1. it just looks cool and impressive to press 2, it keeps hands in a neutral grip so better for my injured shoulder. The only problem the darn thing costs close to $400 for the 10" diameter 81 lb one and $500 for the 12" diameter 103 lbs one. Since I have no olympic plates I would have to get those as well so I can load weight onto the log press. It would much be cheaper to just do sandbag training so I may start that sometime soon. For now I will have to use KB, weighted pullups, TNT cables and the new Ab powerwheel for my home training. As far as pullups I need to find a new place for my pullup bar so I do not hit my head on the ceiling in my garage.
