Kingdom Hearts - First Impressions
So, I started the first KH game on Friday. In a way, it felt backwards, since I'd already played KHII, and read the KHI manga. Still, I figure it's best to do things in order when you can, to get the full effect.
What made it more amusing was that my parents were watching as I started it up, so they had some interesting remarks o-o The mix of anime style and Disney, the incredible distance that Sora falls down...and falls down...and falls down...XD It was fun to see them identifying the Princesses too. But the best part was the confusion cause by character design....
"Is that a boy or a girl?"
*looks at Sora* "Um, that's a boy. Can't you tell?"
"Well, he's really girly looking, isn't he?"
"Well, uh, the game was made in Japan, and Japanese guys aren't considered to be the most masculine-looking..."
"Ah..."
"Plus, you know, he's only like 13 years old."
"Mmm."
*Game continues*
"You know, he's got really spikey hair."
"And enormous shoes."
*...Continues....*
*Sora wakes up*
"Oh, wait, who's that? Is that a boy or a girl?"
*looks at Kairi* "Uhh....................."
"Oh, wait, it must be a girl; she doesn't have pointy hair."
"Yeah, and she's wearing a short skirt."
"Yeah, cause if she were a boy, she'd be wearing a....long skirt?"
Me: "You mean like a kilt?"
My family is crazy XD.
