Belated Movie Review
So, awhile ago I finally tried watching The Spirits Within. I was pleasantly surprised. I don't know why everyone says it's such a bad movie. It's got action, humor, slick animation, unique characters, and a creative plot. I've heard some people say that the problem is with the target market - fans of Final Fantasy might not like that it's not actually connected to any existing game, and think the plot is comparatively simple, while newbies to FF might find certain concepts hard to understand. I don't know about that: both I and my mom (who knows next to nothing about Final Fantasy) enjoyed it. Maybe more people just need to give it a chance...
