New Acquisitions
I finally got my computer up and running! I've started my fall online classes, and I've got some new software to go with it: Office 2007 and Dreamweaver. Also, I bought FFVI! It was a choice between that and V, so I picked VI because I actually knew some of what that was about.
Hard to believe CC's coming out in a week. Course, I don't expect we'll get it til spring, but I might have to avoid certain places online if I don't want spoilers. For some reason, the necessary sad ending makes me want a post-DOC sequel even more - they just CAN'T end the series on that depressing note...
Speaking of CC, here's some things I've seen about it so far that I really like, and things I don't:
CONs
Not knowing who's going to do the English VA's. The returning characters are pretty much set, but what about the new ones. Having gotten used to the Japanese VA's, I'm afraid the others won't be as good.
The SAD ending. I mean, it seems like all the main characters end thier story in gruesome or tragic ways.
Is it just me, or are Aeris's eyes too big for her face?
Tifa's new outfit. I suppose with a small screen, you can get away with stuff like that, but come on, she's 15!. She lives in a small, conservative town, and has an overprotective father. I'm surprised he lets her wear that...

Okay, now the good stuff...
The AGS Junon scene. LOVE it. <3 It must be over a minute in length, and all done in beautiful FMV. Maybe that's where all the disk space went...But, I don't mind. They all look so cool, fighting like only SOLDIERs can!
In fact, I really like the addition of Gen and Angy. I know a lot of people were skeptical at first, but they really make the story more interesting, and are really developed characters.
I like the way Zack grows and develops over the course of the game. He starts out so eager and naive, and grows into a protective figure. I'm probably going to be one of those people who don't finish because I don't want him to die...
As for Seph, it still seems to strange to see him in this sort of role, but they did it quite well, I think. That scene with him and Zack in his character profile is so cute! He's all like 'Don't worry, we'll see eachother again soon'. I just melt at the wibbles. God, I'm going to HATE Nibelheim...
Yeah, so maybe be the time it comes out here, I'll actually have enough for a PSP. Better start saving, then..
