N things from yesterday
- Work was frustrating: I'm trying to take a method developed on seven similar frames from one dataset and apply it to more diverse data from a different dataset. And Matlab was down for a decent chunk of time (less than they thought, though), which didn't help. I did get my new computer (yayayay!) but I don't dare do the switch until the end of next week, so for now it's just a paperweight.
I'm looking forward to getting into the office this morning (yeah, it's Thanksgiving; there'll be plenty of family, friends, and food later) - it bugs me that the method didn't just work!!
- E wanted to hang out with friends in Davis Square after school, so G and I dropped her off, then went looking for tamago. Found Snappy Sushi, and were perfectly satisfied. (We get sushi ~once/month, usually near G's birthdate; our favorite place seems to have vanished, so we're sushi-restaurant-shopping.)
- More Glee was watched; and, also, Mythbusters, though I mostly did dishes during the latter.
