Piano storage advice, anyone?

My congregation will be taking two pianos with us when we leave our building, a baby grand and an upright. The upright is worth maybe $500, the baby grand a couple of, yk, grand.

We will take one of them to the apartment we're camping out in (our parsonage is a two-unit building, we're moving office stuff and some other material to the downstairs apartment and basement), and put the other into storage. Question - which should we take, and which should we store? We'll need to do some door removal to get the baby grand into the building, so some say, just move in the upright. OTOH, there's a sense that the baby grand would be safer with us. Looking at the website of the storage company we'd be using (http://www.bigfootmoving.com/), I'm thinking that might not be true, though - they store pianos separately.

(If we didn't need to have an instrument accessible, I'd say store them both. But I tend to trust people who do something a lot.)

Any BTDT?

(Oh, and anyone local want a piano? We've got ~10 others looking for homes.)
