Because I am clueless and very uncool
Everything I know about popular culture, I learn on Dancing With The Stars. Except I have no memory, so even that's pretty hit-or-miss.
Anyway. So Lady GaGa was on DTWS a while back, but she scared me, and so I repressed.
A couple of weeks ago, I got her Bad Romance stuck in my head; but I thought it was a Miley Cyrus song until I finally listened to the lyrics. And decided, no. But it still took me a bit of poking to figure out it was by Lady GaGa. So now she's not *just* scary!woman.
So I was trying to describe all this to the_gadgetman yesterday while we were doing kitchen stuff, and he didn't know what song I was talking about, so I grabbed my iPhone and typed in something-or-the-other and the Chipmunkian version of Bad Romance issued forth. So we started grooving, until the kids came in and made us stop.
Now it's my favorite song.
