2009 - The Questions
And now, for The Questions.
1. Personal favorite Water's Not Fine and Keeping Up With Jim, my contributions to the wonderful world of The Sentinel smarm.
2. Least favorite More Than Just the Planet - my first completed Star Trek story, after being a fan for decades. I don't think it's bad, but I think Star Trek (and the movie) deserved better. I meant it to be my first of several post-movie fics, but so far it's alone.
3. Best story Four People Nicholas Rush Cheered Up (And One He Didn't) - I really like the rhythm of this story.
4. Hardest to write Aidan's Tale. I was feeling pretty bitter when I wrote it.
5. Best received Aidan's Tale, my SGA gen ficathon story, got some really nice feedback. My SGU stories in general have gotten more comments-per-hit than my fic in any other fandom, with Old Arthur Clarke Was Seldom Wrong in particular getting a number of comments and a rec on stargateficrec.
6. Least Appreciated by the Universe That's easy! My LFWS first-round strike-out, Swinging; I may redo it someday.
General trends: Though I feel like I wrote a lot last year, particularly during the second half, nothing was very long. I'm not sure I like this; though it is satisfying to get things done and out.
