Random Fic Ideas
So, ever since I've started watching Warehouse13 my mind has been in fic prompt overdrive. Past couple days I've had a few particular ideas that I think I'm going to start working on.
1. H.G./Pete bound over teasing Myka. Myka ends up getting her feelings a bit hurt, but doesn't really let on. I keep seeing it as them away from the warehouse......maybe outside someplace? camping? Myka just ends up going to bed, but Helena notices and makes things great again.
2. H.G./Pete bounding over pop culture. I love how in most fics she's very annoyed with him about this, but I think it would be fun to do the flip. I'm sure there are plenty of songs/books/movies etc. out there that Helena would enjoy. Also, I think the longer she hung around the more she would be corrupted by Claudia and Pete :) . So I could see her really getting in on Pete's references and even one upping him. I'd like to see them making Myka insane with this. Maybe a day where they only spoke in references?
3. Takes place some time when H.G. first moves in at the b and b. I like the idea of her staying up and catching up on history. 1. Crazy inquisitive mind would want to know. 2. after being bronzed i would think sleep would be hard. terrifying and pointless. i'm pretty sure if i'd been stuck like that for months even i wouldn't want to be wasting any time. So Helena up reading etc. and Myka staying with her. it would be over a couple days. Day 1 Myka falls asleep on the couch, while Helena's in a chair reading. Day 2 Myka asks her to read to her and falls asleep. Day.... 5 or something Helena wouldn't even bother reading downstairs. At first Myka would think she didn't want her hovering, but really she just takes her book into Myka's room to read.
4. Back to the only speaking in references thing. I need more of a setup, but something about one of them having to go some place dangerous where you can only speak in literary quotations. I see the argument more becoming a bit of a pissing match between H.G. and Pete. Anyways i can see Myka snapping at him to realize he's being immature about it and saying something like, "Oh really? And what are you going to quote Dr. Seuss?"
Okay there's more, but they're escaping me at the moment.
