日本の旅行 - Arrival Day

Dec 07, 2010 11:34

Since we have free internet in our house I'll probably write a blog about my Japanese travel daily or smth along that with pictures.

Today (Japanese time) I came to Japan. Had a really nice flight, occasional turbulence but otherwise was fine. I didn't even realized I'm actually flying to Japan until we started decreasing and I saw lights of of the cities below. Such a beautiful sight (no pictures, because my camera was somewhere in the language and my phone was turned off).

After landing and all the formalities one as a non Japanese residence must do the train confusion started ( I got British tube system after the first ride, but I was having problems with Japanese trough the whole day, tho I got it now, I think). It's pretty easy one's you figure out the system of reading all the colours and everything.

Arriving at the guest house (it's chibi, like really chibi xD, tho in Japan everything is chibi compared to Europe. I was watching the land scape while on Narita Express and I was going aww most of the time seeing that cute little houses). Though my guest house is more of a house with more apartments (males and females are separated). My current room mates are a French girl who has been living in Japan for 2 years, two Japanese and a Chinese women with her children). Quite an interesting bunch right xD.

I went to a lunch with the French girl, since she was the only one at home and offered to show me around a bit and we eat something really delicious. Then we started searching for a shop that have adapters (European and Japanese electric plugs are different). We didn't find them and I went and walked trough the whole Akahibara to find the store that had them. I should of bought two instead of just one, I guess I'll go again tomorrow (I need to take pictures anyway).

Didn't do much else since I'm tired, but I will start my real Tokyo exploring tomorrow.

P.s.: Young Japanese boys aren't just cute in school uniforms but in suits to ...  ^_^
