Long time...
Hello friends (if anyone still reads this) and anyone else surfing by. Patrick brought to my attention that I haven't posted in a year. That's a long time! And since I have a good weekend I thought I'd post about it.
The first thing I enjoyed was going to Mary's with Emma when the whole family is there. I just let whomever take her away and I don't have to worry about her at all...although sometimes I do, of course. This weekend was an engagement party for Heather and Armel, as well as the Family Fun Golf Tournament (or whatever the name really is...)
This year our team was Pat, myself, Sam and his friend Dave. We have spent a little a time with Dave at Kristin and Sam's before, but not much. He is a fun dude! Sam drank way too much on the course, but we had a lot of fun. Good thing it was best ball, and also good thing we were the last team. The boys were quite inappropriate at times...but they made me laugh! Reminded me of when we were in school...that was a long time ago!
I can't believe the summer is almost over! We even turned off our air conditioner today. Our gardens are producing fruit...and our front tree lost it's leaves!
Emma is talking (somewhat) now and she's using the potty, sometimes. It's all very exciting. We're working on number 2...it's been 4 months and nothing yet. I try really hard not to get frustrated. Both Kristin and Michelle have 2 month old babies...they are very busy these days! I try to see them on a regular basis, but that doesn't always work out. Kristin came for the BBQ after golf yesterday and her baby (Leila) was whisked away by family members so she could eat in peace. I told her it would work like that...the family loves babies! :)
