more grease....
Took about 45 gallons of grease in cubies down to Hampshire, along with 3 6-gallon gas cans and a clean 55-gallon drum from Jonah and Max (motor oil drum - perfect). Filtered about 80 gallons of grease total today, put some in the truck, didn't make any difference to how it ran. Not much, just like 7 gallons or something (it's got a 30 gallon tank, I think). Gotta hook up another pump so that people can fill from the now-full-of-filtered-grease 55-gallon drum. The truck ran perfectly all the way to Hampshire and back, not that I expected any differently. I think its maiden long voyage will be to go get Jason's stuff from NY.
This weekend I'm going to Mike Amer's to learn how to make biodiesel. Sweet. I'm also babysitting little Emily so that Kim and Max can go out for their Anniversary (tiny bit of payback for Kim taking JLynn so that I can go to Spring), going to a party at Em and Jonah's, and hopefully fixing the VNT mechanism in my VW. Maybe then I'll enjoy driving it again. This weekend is going to rock, I can tell already. Yeah! :)
