He often wonders how he became so delusional. Even without considering sexuality, high school convention alone should have prevented his naive fantasies from feeling obtainable.
He blames movies offering a warped sense of reality; false hope. Or perhaps he’d merely misunderstood. After all, a misfit had ‘won’ the football star, as evidenced by the 'Silk' sitting in their fridge. Clearly he’s missing something.
His OTP holds the answer; Drarry works because they’d been enemies, because even at their worst they’d held that spark of connection.
Luckily he has an adversary in mind. And he looks substantially better without the Mohawk.
