She left him standing in the rain while she cried in her car. It was terribly like a movie, which she regretted. She hated clichés. In her rearview mirror, she watched him start moving towards her car; he hesitated, thought better of it, and returned inside, soaked with raindrops.
It was just too little, too late. A month ago, she might have relented. But Will Schuester had some self-analyzing to do. A psychology textbook case of closeted narcissism. Benign, really, but not ideal for a relationship. And an apology wasn’t enough at this point.
Maybe in a month or two.
