She blushes as she spins around in the lingerie. Red, like her cheeks. Like the top of Noah’s Mohawk.
“Hot.” He finds it’s all he can really say, and just then, he’s pulling her to him, onto his lap. The white leather is sticky; she doesn’t want to ask why.
“Not in the store, Noah.”
“Not sure I want to wait,” he says brokenly, nipping her ear.
“We’ll have plenty of time later. Let’s go.”
He rolls his eyes. “Controlling bitch.”
“But you love it.”
“Yeah.”
She hums their song while she changes.

Burt Hummel knew his son was gay when he first saw him dancing with a hairbrush in front of his mirror to The Artist Formerly Known As Prince’s “Kiss.” He seriously doubted Prince was even straight, because no straight man would ever sing such a gay song if his life depended on it.
He didn’t know if he was bothered by it. A dead wife, a gay son, maybe it was just the natural order of things.
Looking back on it, it made him laugh. In that fond sort of way that parents do. Then, he knew it was okay.
