The letters form words; lines from her favorite book, lyrics from the songs they’ve been learning in glee club, ‘I love you’s’ that they’re both too afraid to say. She’s so lost in the feel of her friend’s sun soaked skin beneath her fingers that she nearly misses the entire story Santana’s trying to tell her about her latest dating disaster with Finn. She doesn’t understand why Santana’s still pretending. There’s no longer a rule about dating younger. Her spot on the Cheerios is safe.
