NOLA, I love you!
Today marks the fourth anniversary of Hurricane Katrina. This day always makes me sad, frustrated, and angry as I recall seeing my city under water, my people in peril, and the complete complacency of the federal response in the aftermath. But the city of New Orleans and its citizens are resilient, and we're slowly but surely recovering from this disaster. We're one of the most unique and wonderful cities in America, and nothing can kill our spirit! I miss home so much right now. My heart and mind are with New Orleans today. My prayers are with all of those that lost their lives and their families. Vive la Nouvelle-Orleans! I <3 you!!!
