Does it shock you to see the "for fun" stuff? I feel like I eat really well when I feel ok, and just not enough when I'm stressed or ill. For those who are new post-ops, the "you can never ever eat ________ thing again" isn't really true. I eat bites of lots of food. I just don't eat huge portions anymore. Keep that in mind if you have the "last supper" mentality. You aren't leaving enjoying any food. You are just leaving the need to eat so much of it and such a high percentage of pleasure food vs. food that tastes good and makes you healthy. I was prepared for a total lifetime like the new pre-op period, but it just isn't like that (thankfully). You will eat again.
