christmas eve
just got back from an evening out in the city. it wasn't as good as i expected it to be, but at least i got to spend time with stfu_stfd, Claire and chatted with some nice people at the CS CapSquare gathering. it could have been much better, but i'd give today's gathering about six points on a scale of ten.

now, if you asked me this question without giving me a chance to think for a while, i would have given you "i don't really know" for an answer, because i'm not much of a movie buff: music and fiction are more my thing, but after much thought, i'd say my favorite movie is The Lion King. and yes, it's an animated movie, but still, it's a movie, and it's a Disney classic to boot.
part of the reason why i like it so much is that the movie never fails to move me every time i watch it. i tear up and cry like a baby whenever it's the scene where Mufasa gets flung off the cliff into the ravine by that evil motherfucker by his evil brother, Scar who deserves to be trampled by ten billion elephants what hdu make baby Simba cry you ugly evil sonofabitch. and then Simba scampers over, ears perked up, going, "DAD! DAD! WAKE UP!" and tries to revive him, but Mufasa's already gone. oh, my heart T_____T
it's Christmas Eve you guys :) i hope you people have a merry Christmas, and make sure you spend it with someone, be it family, friends, or a random stranger you met on the train :)
