wayward living makes no sense
dear Livejournal,
i'm sorry for having abandoned you for so long, only visiting you when i needed a quick (or a long) fix of ficlets randomly pulled up from my favorite slash writers (by the way, readers, read this), or maybe a quick inspirational tour of other peoples' Moleskin planners at organizers, but what else did i need to use you for? i haven't been up to much lately except for Ragnaroking my ass off and managing in-game drama, and people here wouldn't understand what i would talk about anyway.
aaaaanyway, here are some brief details about my life so far:
a week ago, the university mates and i went to KLCC and had a picnic on the steps in the park. yes. a true blue picnic. Malaysians would scoff at this -- (HAH MALAYSIA'S SO DIRTY, WHERE WOULD YOU HAVE A PICNIC?!? was my mother's reply, eyebrows raised) but we actually pulled it off! i've done so many things with this group that i've never ever done before, like visit a true blue Malaysian farm and a waterfall, and this picnic of sorts just added to the mix.

also, yesterday, Leeyay and i went to kidnap meet Cynthia at KL Hilton! Leeyay and i miraculously found our way to KL Hilton from Sentral, despite the fact that we thought we'd surely get lost (props to the existence of convenient signs!), and plopped ourselves down in the lobby :D
after meeting the Singapore penguin, we made our way to Pavillion, KL, introducing Cyn to the absolutely eccentric Malaysian train system, where we got squished twice, and walked our way across several dusty streets to Pavillion where we ate and shopped briefly before returning back home, pushing past the growing crowd of shufflers and rocker gangs outside Bukit Bintang only to get squished on the monorail back to Sentral. oh well.
Cyn and i being dorky @ an art display in the middle of the mall har har (yes, i tend to wear that purple shirt a lot. it's my favorite :D)

hmm, what else. oh yes, i'll be going away tomorrow to Langkawi (remember, i posted a few pictures of a beach months ago? yes. i'm going back there again), where i'll be staying at the Westin. i'm looking at pictures now, and it looks absolutely divine! an infinity pool! a sandy white beach! deck chairs! white fluffy beds! chaise lounges! sunsets! aah i can't swim, because it's that time of the month, but whatever. i'm going to enjoy myself and that's that.
see you when i return (hopefully without a sunburn)!
