There are, as you all know, people who attract bad luck. On the very day they are fired by the boss, they fracture an arm while trying to change a spark plug, and get a letter from their girl friend who addresses them by a wrong christian name. Similarly, there are concepts which magically attract bad luck or, in any case, difficultes, and then bump into things in all the directions you think with them.
