Life is a show
A big song and dance
We perform for the cameras
Just to amuse the audience
But is there truth in what we do
In the kisses we take
How much is honest
How little is fake
Nobody knows that
My true feelings are shown
Because its all for laughs
My cover is never blown
Perhaps I should be honest
And hope you feel them too
I should just blurt it out
"By the way: I love you"
