He sneered at the screen, watching the episode as he sat in the bleek gray light of his apartment. Only a small stream of sunlight coming through the drawn curtains of his living room. Since his meeting with Dan and the harsh blow of losing his job on the show, Jeff hadn't really left his apartment. He spent most of his days sitting watching television, ignoring his phone (and some very important calls from his agent.) He sighed and dropped the paper he was holding down onto the coffee table in front of his sofa, where it landed with a thud next to the latest issue of Rolling Stone. Another publication that had been well thumbed through.

The day it had come out was the last time he had left his apartment. He could remember sitting and frantically scanning every single word for any clues, any tiny hints that she and Brad were an item behind his back. There was nothing. She didn't mention relationships at all and that stung, even a fake mention still would have been something.

It was the headline of the paper he had thrown down that really hit him. "Star comedian axed from ABC" and it continued on inside, "Comedian Jeff Davis has been axed from the popular Improv comedy show 'Whose line is it anyway?' The show on ABC features the comedy talent of Drew Carey, Ryan Stiles and Colin Mocherie as well as the new comedy talent of Robin Andrews, who playes Jonglers with her unique stand up two nights a week. Although the producers of the show have refused to comment, our sources have revealed that an apparent rift in the cast was the cause for the dismissal"

The oh so familiar theme music started again and he felt sick to his stomach at what he saw on the screen. Ryan, Colin, Wayne and Brad were coming back out onto the set (Something that they hardly ever showed.) Brad was the last one to come out and on his back was Robin, giggling with her face pressed into his neck. Jeff sneered watching as Brad put Robin down at the side of the stage and giving her a kiss before running back over to his seat.

"That of course was our very own Robin Andrews being carried across the set" Drew said with his trademark grin to the camera, "Jeez, some guys get all the luck" He said towards Brad who was sitting looking smug with his hand up behind his head "You sing for playboy bunnies, go home with a beautiful brunette every night. Seriously...no justice" He laughed as Brad winked towards Robin, the camera going onto her standing next to Joise and her nose scrunching in that cute way he remembered. Jeff rubbed his hand over his stubble covered face and rolled over. He didn't care about hearing it, but seeing it was different.

-----

When Brad had asked Robin to move in with him, he had forgotten one serious detail; Robin owned stuff. Clothes and things he could handle but she also had things that she wanted to display too, like pictures and CD's. It was the merging of the CD collection that had cause a tiff that had lasted two hours and was only resolved when Greg physically pushed them together and told them how stupid they were acting.

It was late in the afternoon when they finally admitted defeat, some boxes still lying in the hallway waiting to be unpacked. Both Robin and Brad were lying together, tangled on their sofa flicking through the many TV channels, her head on his chest and her body lying on top of his. She sighed not for the first time since they had finished eating their chinese take out. Her stomach was churning and she kept telling herself that it was because she had eaten too much. It wasn't just her stomach that was bothering her, her temperature felt like it was soaring and it wasn't helped by the fact Brad was a human furnace.

Suddenly she sat upright as a wave of nausea washed over her. Brad looked up at her and frowned.

"You okay babe? You don't look great..." He said. Robin blinked a few times and suddenly made a gulping sound, her hand flying to her mouth. In the blink of an eye she was off Brad and into the bathroom, the door slamming behind her. Brad moved from the couch to the bathroom door and pressed his face against the wood.

"Robin? You okay sweetheart?" he asked, wincing when he heard her heave once more. A few seconds later the door opened and Robin stood there looking pale.

"Umm...yeah I think so" She muttered, swaying slighty. Brad reached out and steadied her by the shoulders. "Maybe I ate too much or something"

"hmm well whatever it was you're going to bed" He said moving her towards their bedroom. Robin shook her head but moved anyway.

"What about all the boxes..."

"Forget them, i'll get them later! You need to get some rest" he said gently, "You probably over did it today" He lay her back in the bed, completely ignoring Robin's silent protests that she was making in the form of screwing her face up. He gave her a kiss on the forehead and left the room, leaving Robin to lie there and watch the TV absently.

Considering she had only just thrown up a few moments ago, Robin felt surprisingly alright, just a little worn out. There was a good chance it was the food, after all, she hadn't only eaten hers but she had also stolen some of Brad's food as well. The past few months had been amazing, she had slowly recovered from Jeff's actions, She was moving in with the man she loved and starting a whole new chapter of her life. For once, LA felt like her home. She frowned suddenly. Few months. Months.

Like a flash she was out of bed and in the kitchen, frantically counting dates on the calender and counting dates in her own head. As the realisation sunk in she bit her lip in an attempt to stop the grin appearing on her face. She didn't see Brad run into the kitchen looking panicked.

"Is everything okay?!" He exclaimed, "I just saw you dart from the bedroom, I got the fright of my life!" Robin smiled quickly, thinking on her feet. She didn't want Brad to know her suspicions just yet.

"Oh! Everything's fine sweetie, Don't worry!" Brad raised an eyebrow.

"...Are you sure?" He asked and Robin just nodded with a sweet smile that totally confused her boyfriend and with a peck on his cheek she swayed past him back towards their bedroom.

------

The next day Brad didn't even get a chance to ask Robin about the day before, or even how she was feeling. When his eyes first opened she was already up and running around their flat. Her hair and makeup was done and she was in the process of grabbing her purse.

"Oh, morning sweetie" She whispered, smiling down at him, "I've got a few things I need to do this morning but i'll see you at the studio okay?" She said. Brad could only nod, still full of sleep, as she bent down and gave him a quick kiss goodbye.

"So which one are you going to buy?" Josie asked a bemused looking Robin. The two comedians stood in front of a wall of different pregnancy tests, each one promising something that Robin's was fairly sure wasn't possible.

"I don't know...does it matter?" she said, raking her hands through her hair in frustration. Josie nodded.

"Of course it does, you want one that is the most reliable" Robin picked a digital test up and winced.

"Apparently you pay through the nose for reliable!" She giggled, putting it back on the shelf. Josie giggled with her and started picking up a few packets of different brands. "What are you doing?"

"You're going to take the test on a few different brands. That way we can be sure if you're really pregnant" She said. Robin nodded in agreement and started grabbing a few other brands before making their way towards the cashier.

-------

"Hey baby, what were you girls up to?" Brad asked Robin as she and Josie walked into the studios. Robin smiled at him as she sat on his knee, wrapping her arms around his neck and giving him a kiss on the cheek.

"Oh..just wedding stuff" She said, "Has the draw been done yet?" Brad nodded.

"Uhuh and guess what?"

"What?"

"It's your turn!" He said in a little sing song voice and Robin rolled her eyes with a smile. She figured it was about time she got to do another episode since her time in hospital and she was more excited about it than she realised. Dan walked onto the stage and got all the performers to gather round.

"Alright folks, the games we're going to be playing today are as follows: Weird Newscasters, Scenes from a hat, Helping hands, Irish Drinking song and then Drew and 3 of you will finish on a Hoedown" He said, reading from his clip board while Robin, Wayne, Colin and Ryan just nodded.

"Also please remember that the first Improv All Stars show is in two weeks and I will be having a meeting after todays taping to tell you all about the plans" Dan finished his speech, dropping the piece of paper back onto to board and leaving the stage. Robin quickly hopped off Brad's knee but was caught around the waist.

"Whoa whoa, where are you going in a hurry?" he asked. Robin giggled and turned to face him.

"I..uh...I gotta go get ready for the show" She lied quickly, "You know, hair, make-up, clothes" Brad sighed and just shrugged, letting her run off with Josie.

Kathy had been her usual quiet self, staying away from Robin and Brad as much as possible which was now nothing new, especially to Denny who knew the real reason. Lately things had gotten worse for Kathy. Everytime she looked at Robin she was overcome with a crushing guilt that made her sick to her stomach. She remembered all the times that Robin was a good friend to her, not counting anything to do with Brad. She had always enjoyed spending time with the other comedian and she had to admit, she missed it. Slowly, Kathy took in a deep breath. She knew what she had to do to clear her mind.
