Drabbles of various pairings
I've compiled these since finals week last semester, and I finally finished the fifth one. Anywho, here we go :) They're all exactly 100 words, rated either G or PG.
Chip/Jeff
Every kiss and touch caused me to imagine Chip as someone else. It was in-fucking-sane. Why would anyone do that? I had no explanation. I knew that I wanted…him.
Chip took me into his arms and kissed me. I pretended, but my smile masked it. I was good at that
“Jeff…have I told you that I love you?” Chip said with a smile.
“Yeah…” I said.
I looked over Chip’s shoulder and felt my heart jump. Greg was standing there, looking at me. I wanted to run to him, but I couldn’t. The closest I would ever get was pretending.
Richard/Josie
Richard usually winked at the singer before a game, but Josie knew it meant something more for her. It was in his eyes. Clive announced a game of Song Styles, and Josie took center stage as the audience gave suggestions. Richard winked, as always.
“Can you do it in the style of a love song?”
Josie nodded, and Richard started to play a flowing melody. Josie’s sweet soprano blended perfectly, and the room fell silent. The song seemed like it was over before it began. She turned to acknowledge Richard but stopped when he mouthed three words.
“I love you.”
Greg/Ryan
Snow fell down in spirals as Greg approached Ryan’s house. He had wanted do this for a long time, but he hadn’t found the right time. Now, with this atmosphere, was the time. He had it all planned out. Greg rang the bell, and Ryan answered.
"Greg! Wasn’t expecting you here,” Ryan said as they kissed.
Greg felt the weight in his pocket and decided to forego his plan. Nothing like being spontaneous. He got down on one knee, completely ignoring the snow-induced dampness, and brought the box out. Ryan eyed him curiously.
“Will you marry me?” he asked.
“Yes!”
RyCol/Greglin
I loved him and hated him. I loved Colin because I knew he wasn’t as tame as he looked, but I hated him because he was with Ryan.
Colin should be with me, damn it.
As we taped, my mind began to devise ways to get Colin away from Ryan. Make it look like Ryan was cheating. Convince Ryan to leave. Hell, I could steal Colin myself.
I made up my mind. After taping, I drug Colin away and pushed him to the wall. I kissed him hard, savoring his taste.
I left. Colin definitely knew what he was missing.
Tony/Richard
Tony knew his relationship was rocky. He barely had time for Richard with all of his projects. However, he was optimistic. Richard understood. He would wait for Tony’s schedule to clear up, and things would be okay.
Wrong.
Richard was fed up. Tony kept taking projects and acting like Richard wasn’t a part of his life. That was defeating the purpose. He wasn’t going to take it any longer.
Tony came over to Richard, all smiles as usual. The glare on Richard’s face wiped it away.
“I can’t do this anymore. Go find someone else to neglect.”
Richard walked away.
