The Stanley Cup (and Paris)
So the Ducks finished off the Senators last Wednesday to win their first Stanley Cup. It was particularly cool because I was able to go to games 1 and 2 of the Cup Finals, which was an amazing experience. I was a little sad I couldn't go to game 5 (tickets were going for around $700 for nosebleed seats), but it was still great to watch on TV.
Sadly, this leads me into this bitch Paris Hilton. This stupid whore has to decide she's unable to handle her time in jail around the time the Ducks win their Cup, and steals the headlines away from the more deserving Ducks. I mean seriously, what the fuck does Paris Hilton even contribute to the world?
So after last night's complex analysis final (which was 90% of my grade in the class), I'm completely finished with my first year of grad school. The wave of exhaustion that I always experience at the end of a school year has hit me badly, and I've been lounging around all day long. Tomorrow I'm going home for a week, something I haven't been able to do since Christmas. So I'm looking forward to the R&R.
