Some selfish things one not
I try so hard not to say any thing about Ds late wife. they had problems and I heard a lot about them but aside from about once a year here I try not to bitch about it. Now she was greatly beloved in our local SCA branch I understand that but a lot of people when they get the chance do the "we miss her so much, she was so wonderful" and I know they dont meen to wound me but it seems like a pile on sometimes. I get ignored when I am with him by people who were her friends and there are times I get the very strong vibe of "your not good enough for him" since I have no awards and my garb is much the same as when I started. Its been 7 years folks, you can miss her but please be kind to me, I kept and keep him alive. More than that I make him happy
On that sorta thing Ds wife was divorced he didnt like the other husband (about 12 years older than D) but they allways played nice for the kids, and D raised the girls after the divorce he was popa. what I have found out is the man is a parsimonious old guy. He made good money and still dose now that he is retired, I wouldnt say he was super welthy but doing well. the oldest daughter is chairman of a legal writing department and her husband has a good IT job so they are doing well they travel and take the kid to disny every year. The youngest daughter went in to teaching wehre there are not a lot of jobs and her husband is a solder and not such a high placed IT guys. they not a lot of money one step over "just getting by" If the washer or car breaks down it causes BIG problems like many of us.
Ok that was the set up see The younger daughter;s kid has all ways wanted to go to Disney like save all her money want to go. And the whole thing is much more than they can afford now that the itty bitty is 8 and can get joy from it. Her gradfather has never offered to take them or just her, they get a Florida resident discount and his other grand child gos every dam year, how could he not see she has the vidos, she is of the age and her cousin gos and that she should go offer to take her on one of the twice yearly vists. that is just mean. she is your blood and you can
I have offered to take them, it will take most of next years residual money to pay for the trip but its the right thing the kid should have something she so wants at the age when it counts. And we will use Zs military discount.
This year we lost a bunch because himself forgot to change his withholding and we owed more money in taxs a few years ago than he paid we agreed to have them take 200 a pay period and they didnt till last month when they took 6k all at once. so the trip I had been planing to go to spain got pulled i feel very defeated. I have never been away from north America and really want to.
My Aunts husband is a judge in canada. (his brother is bobby joy the cornor on CSI new york) the judge has been brought up for censure and may loose his bench. He wrote a memo that says the goverment and the legal aid has been rottenly and systematically harming prisoners by not giving them real defences, not properly making them aware of rights, and not giving good counsel. well if he gose down in flames it will be a glorious light from the bridges burning.
