a brief introduction to live action roleplaying
So I wrote a fic. I think I'm going to just post this one to Ao3, which is actually kind of freaking me out, but it's long and has a lot of block quotes and I don't want to deal with the lj formatting. More info about it is down there, closer to the bottom of this post. Probably not very far down. For now: HALLO! How are you? Does anyone use livejournal any more? I've had a bit of a long week, and haven't done a proper post in ages but that happens. I've obviously been out of it for a little bit, besides--uh, well, I don't really have much to say for myself. I am ostensibly writing a thesis, so I have several WIPs that are just chillin' or whatever (and some of these aren't Teen Wolf, for those of you who have BLERGH feelings about Teen Wolf). However, all work and no play, etc., etc., and while there are things I do with my freetime that don't involve fic (xc-skiing!) there's the chance that I'll suddenly decide one of those WIPs needs to be finished, which is how we ended up here. Which brings us back to the fic. Which this post is about.
It's Stiles/Danny. It's long (I don't know how it got this long) and sort of epistolary. There's no LARPing. The title is basically a giant lie. There's a lot of product placement for Orange Julius that Orange Julius didn't even pay me for, which makes me, not a sell-out, but a sort of failed sell-out? Yeah.

jackson tells danny he's a werewolf. danny gets werewolf advice from a stranger on the internet. things escalate from there.
notes: gollumgollum did a wonderful job beta reading this and probably deserves all the money I didn't receive from Orange Julius for her efforts, and also an Orange Julius (a phrase which is beginning to lose all meaning).
