Last week and this week have been one heck of a week. First last week was the end of my 1 week break form my course. Straight away after my course, I had to do a presentation in front of the whole class. My friends and I had to brief the class on Avian flu or maybe better known as bird flu. Depending on the country. Anyway, that is not the point. The point is that I am extremely afraid of talking in front a people. I have a severe case of stage freight. To put up with it, I had to wear formal. Now, me in formal is never a good sight. Firstly, I do not like wearing formal. I find it extremely uncomfortable and makes me look like a complete idiot even though people are saying that I look nice in it. Secondly, why do we even have to wear formal? It is just not my style. Anyway, the presentation was nerve-recking. To put it in a simpler way, pure disaster. I was assigned the boss or the person that was in charge of the team. Overall it was not as bad as I expected. There were a lot of comics in the slides which is a good thing as it attracts the attention of the audiences. Nobody was falling asleep during our presentation as they were all to busy laughing their head off at our slides. At the moment I am just waiting to find out my marks for the presentation.
Then just 2 days ago, I had my English presentation. I was talking about censorship of the media. In my opinion, I think it was a disaster. Everybody was quiet, they did not really ask me any question and also I did not really full fill the required time needed to present. I was suppose to present for more than 7 minutes but I only presented for slightly over 6 minutes. I was really scared and was actually shaking in front there. Luckily I manage to get everything under control and did my very best. I just hope I get a good mark for my effort. I guess I will just have to wait until Friday to know my marks. I think I may have really over done with my formal wear. I wore a full suit to present in front of the class. I was the only one who wore a suit to present in front of the class. I just hope I can get extra marks for looking very smart.
