Moving & Surgury
Well, I've just put in my notice to move out of my place. I'm putting in my application for the new place tomorrow. I've just got to figure out how to print out my last few pay stubs from work since I've got direct deposit and don't get paychecks (or receipts - they're all electronic).
My commute is going to be AWESOME come October when I move. :D It's going to go from 45 min in the morning (barring accidents, of course) and a full hour in the evenings (again, barring accidents, or weather, or just general stupidity ^^;; ) to...oh...about 10 min in the morning and 15 min in the evening. I cannot tell you how awesome this will be. I won't even need to drive the interstate unless I want to :D
The new place *crosses fingers they accept me* is a step up for me. I'll still be in a one bedroom but OMG I'll have a pantry in the kitchen!!! *squees* ...and yes, I realize that I'm getting uber excited over a pantry ^^;; New place is very very very accesible to the interstate without being directly on it. Won't hear any traffic from it, but it'll take me all of two minutes to get on it.
I need to get most of my place cleaned and packed up within less than three weeks, though. I'm having surgury on the 20th and it's looking like I won't be able to help move me on Sept 30th. T_T So...need to get as much heavy/straining stuff done as possible before the surgury so I don't have to hurt myself after the surgury.
Fortunately, I've got some pretty damned awesome friends who are willing to do my move for me. ...er...I can carry my swords? My stuffed animals? My blankets? er...*fails*
Looking forward to the move and the new place. I really hope I get it. Not looking forward to the surgury so much, but definitely looking forward to being fixed! Really totally not looking forward to te liquid/no sugar diet I have to be on for 10 days prior to the surgury...*wibbles* I'm going to staaaaaaaaaaaaarve T_T TOTALLY looking forward to September and my con when several of my friends will be coming into town from out of state. One of whom I've not seen since last year *flails about excitedly*
The next couple of months will be rather busy, stressful but exciting for me. Oh...and I'll have no money T_T but hey! it will be good. I can't wait to get into my new place :D
