But Omi was definitely aware of him now, and no outrage was forthcoming...so clearly his initial assumption had been wrong.
And that look in the boy's eyes...that was new. And, as a result, intriguing. If there was anything the Mastermind lacked, it was the common sense to recognize and acknowledge dangerous courses of action(Ouka proved that, and the bruises had taken weeks to go away). He'd spent so much time with Schwarz, being virtually untouchable, that he'd almost forgotten the meaning of fear, or consequences. The hunger in Omi's eyes was thus something to investigate rather than be wary of.
Besides, of all the members of Weiss, Omi had always presented the least threat to him. Why should that have changed?
"I'd have expected you to be happier to see me," Schuldig replied with a smirk. "It's been awhile, hasn't it?"

Omi looked him down. They'd fought before, of course, and the older man had gotten the better of him. With his new reflexes and strength... it would be a much different outcome.
