Long time no post, huh? Everything's alright at work and such. Although, I rubbed up against a some truck's bumper while pulling out of a parking space in Roane county and it pushed out my blinker so that it fell on the ground. I have to have a new one put in on Monday in turn I have to leave work early that day and then work an hour or so later on Tuesday. The thing that really pisses me off though, is that it didn't really do a damn thing to the truck's bummper at all. God, I'd hate to think what would happen if I got into a wreck in this car if that's what happens when I barely rub someone's bummper. Oh well, at least it won't be as much as I thought it would be to get a new one. I've been thinking lately about how a lot of the bands that I currently listen to or are getting back into now, are always bands at one point or another in my life that I have stopped listening to and decided that I didn't like for one reason or another for a period of time. It's happened to The Beatles, The Jesus and Mary Chain, My Bloody Valentine, Television, Galaxie 500, The Velvet Underground, Dylan, and so on and on. I think that since my late teens up to now, I've been having a bit of a musical crisis, in that I had the chance to discover so many new bands, especially in college that I kind of jumped from being obessed with one set of bands to another every so often. I'm pretty much sure that it's over at this point though. Although, I doubt I'll ever give anyone a complete answer to the question 'What kind of music do you listen to/like?." I don't think it's even worth going into with most people so, I'll just stick to naming one or two genres and get on with it. I need to start doing some major reading again, I've kind of let it slack off here lately, but to be fair I usually go through books pretty fast so, maybe I just need to take a break for a bit. On the plus side, the bookcase in my room is almost fool and it doesn't even contain all the books I've read, but can't remember them all since I was younger or it was before I started trying to collect every book I've read. I think I might get a new computer game this weekend. I beat Doom 3 and I haven't been able to play Half-Life 2 yet because to install it, you have to download shit from the company's website and well, I have dial-up so that is going to take fucking forever. On the plus side, at least the movie, The Puffy Chair is pretty damn good and I would recomend checking it out. I like the fact that it's fairly realistic and the ending is a good one too. Well, I'm off to Circut City and maybe Wal-Mart to see what I can find.
