Thank goodness that it's almost the weekend again. This week has not been fun. I do have to say that I'm starting to get into more and mor of the whole garage rock scene. It's pretty amazing that a lot these bands were and still pretty much ignored by most. I tell you I may listen to a lot of stuff, but the 60's is the start point for me. I mean, come that time period had two of the greatest bands come out, The Beatles and The Velvet Underground. That's enough right there, but there was so much more. Although, I still say I hate the hippies and the idea that any music from the sixties is actually related to The Greatful Dead or Jefferson Airplane. You know, speaking of music, I actually had a couple of really great experiences at work based around the fact that I know a hell of a lot about music. Oh, let's face it, I'm absoultly obessed with music. I think I might try and see another movie this weekend. I don't really know what's playing, but it might be good just to take a chance on something. Who knows, I might actually like it. Speaking of movies, I've also realized that for one reason or another I have an odd obession with romantic comedies. I mean I own a copy of and love the movie When Harry Met Salley and I just recently watched Notting Hill for most of a weekend afternoon. They must strike a cord with my softer side, which I guess is alright as long as I don't start thinking that all of the sides of me are other personalities, right? Haha. Well, I'm off to bed and hopefully my week will end much better then the rest of the week.
