God I'm a stoopid programmer
I wish I had more programmer friends who could sympathize with what I just did - does anyone know any fellow nerds?
I'm working on a mass-email program (NOT a spamming app), that involves a lot of embedded html text. It's an ASP.NET app. So, I'm trying to format the HTML, but it's rendering as text, not HTML. So, I turn on the property for HTML. Only problem is, now the program is sending out emails of HTML code - as opposed to formatted HTML. So, I try a number of conversion techniques, using Server.HTMLencode and a numer of other ideas, only to find out...I had turned on the MailFormat.Text property already, so the MailFormat.HTML property was irrelevant. So, basically, I wasted all of that time for nothing.
See? No one gets my friggin job...
