A Ghost of a Chance- Minnesota GOP Kicks Off
Tim "The Gov" Pawlenty laid it on the line today and took a shot at the other side:
"These are folks who are good at complaining but who are not good at leading or putting forward good ideas," he said. "We live in a time where we need leaders, not whiners."
Tim, I think you got some of that right. We do need "Leaders"- there just isn't any in your party anymore. And the thing is, when the Democrats do offer ideas and offer criticism you ignore the "bad" ideas and then call the criticism "whining". It's playing the trump card.
You talk about "No new Taxes". George Bush Sr. would be proud- You raise cigarette taxes and call them "fees". You sign a new ballpark into existence, which raises taxes on people who aren't even allowed to vote on the issue. One delagate at the convention called him "the most conservative governor in Minnesota history."
Funny. The GOP can't even define conservatism anymore.
Lately, I've met more dead people that make more sense than these bunch of dolts.
