Rock Band is awesome
So my group now has an XBox 360 in the lounge nearby our offices, and we also now have Rock Band. This being our first Friday with Rock Band, once we got most of that pesky work stuff out of the way, we settled down with a few beers to try it out.
Hi, my name is Hanna, and I am a Rock Band addict.
We ended up playing for three hours or so and at one point had a crowd of about 15 people built up. There was lots of swapping in and out of band members, but I got to play each instrument at least once (drums a few times) and sung quite a few songs. I haven't sung in public since voice class back in college - don't know how good I sounded, but the game thought I was doing pretty well, and it was hella fun. :)
Now I'm at home listening to some tunes (A Perfect Circle, NIN, Rise Against) because I am not yet ready to quit rocking. I'm feeling quite relaxed, since I am now on my fourth beer of the night (mmm, Guinness). This has been a great end to a long, stressful, but very satisfying week - I got to hang out with my best buds at work, get nice and inebriated, play some vids, hear some good music, and just in general have a blast. And it's all thanks to Rock Band. BEST GAME EVER.
