Before I came up north for school, I had tons of people telling me how much snow I was going to get, and how I was going to be living in a ski jacket from November to April. In my hometown, if the temperature drops below 90 degrees, we start busting out our sweaters. So needless to say, I was psyched about the weather and this crazy new thing called "snow".
Sadly, my first winter up here has been kind of half-assed, more wind and rain than anything else. But yesterday afternoon, the sky went dark, clouds started whipping over the mountains, and big, fat snowflakes began to fall. The wind was fast enough to drag you off to Oz or something, and we all went outside anyway. So beautiful. And I don't know what it is about snow, but getting it in your hair and your eyelashes just makes you feel like a little kid again.
I froze my ass off, and enjoyed it immensely. ♥
