Frustration
This journal update is coming out of the most frustrating day I have experienced in a LONG TIME!
Okay, firstly, got up, grandparents came over, we headed out to a baseball fundraiser. WE walked across the park to the field "behind the petting zoo" Where we were told to go. It wasn't there. THen we heard it was off cook street, so we checked that out. No show.
I decided to check the field across the street from my place and bingo. ON the way to the other field it looked like a normal league ball game going on. If only people knew how to give good directions. It's Heywood field peoples, on southgate! Is it so hard!? Apparently
So, played some baseball, with the homeless people. It was a fundraiser for the open door. Rev. Al Tilley is one crazy cool fella. The people were all pretty nice also. Except for the weird ones...
I avoided those mostly.
Soo, then my grandparents drove me to UVic for a job I had planned.
I was supposed to be filing some stuff. So, the guy was about 10 minutes late, I was about 10 minutes early. The man was Jordan, the black wanna-be (Thanx Carsten) Africun Drumming teacher.
Instead of filing like I planned on, we drove to the U-Haul place downtown, and I unloaded the drums from his truck. Took about 20 minutes. I got paid for one hour. I was supposed to have done 7 by today. Oh well.
However he did promise more work for next week. And it would be like $10/hour. yea..
So I went home. relaxed a little bit and got myself psyched up for work. Dishwashing can be a crazy job. I get there and there all like what?
Apparently I didnt check the schedule/they didn't tell me that it got changed. I wasn't working tonight after all. After all the plans I'd had to change....
Also, I now get to work Sunday instead, which screws up the plans I had made for that day. The 20 minute walk home sucked.
This has been my frustrating day.
