Ginny slipped into the Leaky Cauldron, gently massaging her writing hand. Even having joined the Harpies straight out of school, she still wasn't quite used to being accosted for autographs.
She paused, and looked around; it seemed like a warm-up for WizardWatch inside. She immediately caught sight of Hermione and Luna at the table, and Neville (well, it had to be Neville, with a plant like that) at the bar. Of course there was a selection of Slytherins in the place too, but that couldn't be helped.
Romilda was just running a wet rag across the counter, cleaning it from any sticky residues from spilled drinks when she noticed Ginny Weasley come in. 'This place looks like a Hogwarts reunion today,' she thought to herself, before rinsing the rag and wringing it out.
"Anything I can pour you, Ginny?" She offered, leaning on the counter.
Ginny turned her head at the mention of her name. Quidditch star or not, she din't come in here very often, and was slightly surprised to be recognised.
Why, yes, thank you...." she paused, racking her brains to remember the name "...Romilda, isn't it? I'll have a gin and tonic, please"
"Yes, it is and coming right up." Romilda nodded and ducked right down to reach for the bottles, before pouring Ginny's drink and putting it on the counter. "So when's the next game?"
"We're in the Close Season at the moment, so there's a few exhibiton games, but nothing major" Ginny replied "Which is just as well, because of this who WizardWatch thing. Gwen, our captain, is *not* a woman you want to cross. And she's very competitive"
Ginny sipped her drink.
"Speaking of WizardWatch, I think everyone in here tonight is involved. You, me, Luna, Hermione, those Slytherin scum..." she gestured around the pub; something caught her eye, and she gasped slightly.
She lowered her voice to a whisper "Don't look now, but Harry's just walked in!"
"I just can't believe they put Skeeter in. Blah, I don't think I could stand being around her more than a minute at the time." Romilda rolled her eyes. When Ginny mentioned Harry's name, Romilda's head jerked around to watch the door. She let out a small sigh.
'Harry Potter, still looking way too damn good.' She thought to herself. She blinked once, twice and then forced herself to go back to washing glasses.
Ginny recognised the reaction: She'd spent several years with very similar opinions on Mr Potter. And actually, there was something quite appealing about the way Romilda reacted to Harry's presence...
"Yes, he is quite good-looking, isn't he?" she whispered "We can make some proper introductions further down the line, if you'd like..."
Ginny finished off her drink, and turned to see Harry and Neville sitting down, and that idiot Malfoy heading over to them.
"Well, I'd love to if I hadn't been a stupid fool at Hogwarts." She muttered, looking away. "I'm pretty sure he doesn't really want to get friendly with me."
Romilda reached for her dish towel and started drying off the few glasses she had just washed.

She paused, looking at the rapidly unfolding altercation between Harry, Neville and Draco, and the joviality disappeared instantly.
"Unless you're REALLY a fuckwit. In which case, it's your own damn fault."
As Romilda moved away to deal with the incident, Ginny silently retrieved her own wand... Just in case.
