1. Name: Jenny
2. Age (no one under 13, please): 16
3. Location: The States
4a. Three positive adjectives to describe yourself: Affectionate, canny, and musical describe me nicely.
4b. Three negative adjectives to describe yourself: I'm often immature, blunt, and sarcastic, sadly.
5. If you could live anywhere in the world for one year, where would you go, and why?:
Hmm, I've always wanted to visit Ireland because it's beautiful over
there, but if I could, I'd rather just travel Europe. My brother just
got back from doing that and I'm completely jealous of him. I'd be able
to see so much there, but if that's not allowed then I'll stick with my
original choice and go with Ireland.
6. Explain the significance/meaning/origin of your username: Well, I wanted it to be easilyenthralled
because that was how I was feeling at the moment and I thought it
sounded really neat. That was too long, though. Then I was going to go
with
easilyamused but I thought that sounded too corny and
cliche. In the end, I just went with
easilyentranced. It still sounded neat and there was alliteration, so what more
could I have asked for? I get such a kick out of alliteration.
7. What's your favourite holiday, and why?: Oh, this is tough,
because I like a lot of holidays, but since I have to pick I'll go with
my birthday! Haha, yeah, that's pretty lame of me, but seriously, my
birthday is the greatest holiday. This year I had to go to a boring
four hour orchestra banquet on my birthday. When I came home, I walked
into my room and BAM! There were about 100 balloons in my room, a crap
load of streamers, a Happy Birthday banner on my window frame and this
sign that said "Crummies and Constipated Dave Strike in the night!" I
was completely shocked, but loved every minute of it. I still have the
Happy Birthday banner on my window frame. Seriously, I love my
birthday. Presents, cake, and surprises = the best thing ever.
8. Favourite three books (besides Harry Potter): Ah, this is hard, too. I love lots of books. Alright, I loved Cat's Cradle, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, and All Quiet on the Western Front.
9. What is or was your favourite and or best subject in school?
Orchestra is definitely my favorite and best subject in school. I do
well in all my subjects (and my friends never shut up about it. "Ooh,
Jenny another A? Pssht, what a surprise!"), but I feel like I do better
in orchetra because I like it so much.
10. If you could ask JKR one question, what would it be? What are the three stangest fan letters that you've gotten over the years?
11. Which of the Harry Potter books thus far was your favourite, and why?: Oh, definitely Goblet of Fire!
We got to learn so much more about the wizarding world in that book.
Hormones were crazy in this book, and squee! Cedric Diggory! Ahem,
sorry, I just love Cedric. I thought this was one of the most
interesting and I don't get bored when I read this one. Oh man, when I
re-read Order of the Phoenix I almost died from all the
necessary, long, boring crap she had to throw in there. GoF never makes
me sleepy and I remember when I first read it my parents yelled at me
because I wouldn't stop reading to go eat dinner.
12. If you could have the power to perform one spell, and only one
spell, absolutely flawlessly for the rest of your life, what would it
be and why? Ah, shoot, I don't remember the names of any of the
spells, but I guess I can just tell you what it does. I'd love to be
able to perform that spell that Hermione knew in first year that
created the fire. I don't even know if they gave us the incantation for
that one, but JKR probably did and I just don't remember. Why would I
love to be able to do this spell? Well, fire's really handy. I can use
it when I'm cold, when I want to impress people at parties, when I'm
really angry I could perform it behind my back and make it look like
I'm on fire so people will leave me alone, and it was the first spell
that came to mind.
13. What House do you honestly think you’d end up in, and why?: Ah,
well, I've been sorted into Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff in other
communities. I usually lean more toward Ravenclaw, but lately I've been
loving Hufflepuff (probably because the Hufflepuffs at
lumos_sorting are so bitchin'.) I definitely have the
Ravenclaw "I'm smart without really even trying in school" thing going
for me. I can be really introverted, too. Plus, I'm totally attracted
to the Gryffindor types like most of the Ravenclaws. (Cho and Harry,
Penelope and Percy, Padma and Ron... even though she totally hated
him.) I'm also very loyal and giving like a Hufflepuff. I think I'd do
well in either house. (Some people think I'm a total Gryffindor, too,
but I won't get into that because I'm not in a very Gryffindor mood.)
14. Are you willing to accept cross-gendered votes/stamps?: Totally, I'd squeal my brains out if someone was like, "You're totally Seamus!" I love Seamus for no good reason.
15. Anything else we should know?: It's 1:04 in the morning and I'm only slightly sleepy. (Ah, alliteration! Hooray!)
16. Please post at least three clear pictures of yourself:
There's my eyes that I'm always claiming to be gray (beacause gray is totally a cooler eye color than blue.)
This is me trying to look surprised because I was waiting for DVD to
copy, er, my cookies to finish baking, and I was really bored. I had to
cover my mouth because it doesn't like to form that surprised 'O' like
most people's. This was the most surprised looking out of the many I
took.
I was trying to get my cat to look at the camera and she finally did! I
think I'll post another picture, since this one is really only my eyes
and is pretty similar to the first one except there's a kitty in it.
(Her name is Reba and she's very chubby.)
I was sort of smiling in this one, but I'd just found out that my...
cookies had burned, so I was kind of pissed off, too, but that's enough
of me.
