5. If you could live anywhere in the world for one year, where would you go, and why?: I would live in Ireland, simply because I'm half Irish and my father was adopted; I'd like to get in touch with my heritage a bit.
6. Explain the significance/meaning/origin of your username: I'm more than slightly obsessive, and my friends used to call me the "obsession mistress;" I was in need of a new username, and combined "obsession" ad "mistress" to get "obsetress"
7. What's your favourite holiday, and why?: Saint Patrick's Day, because, as I said, I'm Irish, and I dunno, but on Saint Patrick's Day, I just know that I'm Irish... It's one of those creepy heritage-ish things, you know?
8. Favourite three books (besides Harry Potter): Les Mis (unabridged, Victor Hugo), Candy (Kevin Brooks), Vanity Fair (William Makepeace Thackery)
9. What is or was your favourite and or best subject in school? I have two, both of which apply to favourite and best, Honours English and Honours French; I enjoy english because writing is one of my favourite things to do, along with reading, and French because I adore France, and the language
10. Why are you a HP fan? Because when I read the books, they take me away to a magical world, and I love magic and what not ^.^
11. Which of the Harry Potter books thus far was your favourite, and why?: Thus far, my favourite book has been Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban; I'm not sure exactly why, but I've always liked Sirius, the events at the Shrieking Shack, and the whole animagus bit.
12. What would the core of your wand be?: (and be creative; I know JKR said there are only three wand cores, but frankly I think she’s being boring. Check out The Bestiary and have some fun with it) I believe that my wand core would be the flight feather of an Augurey (Irish phoenix); firstly, Augureys are Irish, like myself, they fly only in the heavy rain, and I tend to stay inside, unless it's raining, at which point, I go outside, and either dance in said rain, or just sit in a tree and get wet. In addition, the Augurey's cry also tends to be a fortellance (is that a word?), and I'm into divination (I'm weird, I know). Also, phoenixes "burn out," and are then reborn; I tend to have major mood swings in which I blow up, and then become oddly passive. I believe the feather would be a flight feather, because I've always wanted to fly.
13. What House do you honestly think you’d end up in, and why?: I think I'd be in Gryffindor; I'm not afraid to do something daring, and I'd protect my friends if they needed protecting. I've done it before.
