5. If you could live anywhere in the world for one year, where would you go, and why?: France, because I have been studying French for about six years, and haven't yet used it in a practical situation. Plus I love French food and culture.
6. Explain the significance/meaning/origin of your username: There is a song by Phoebe Snow (though I like the Mandalay cover) called "I Don't Want The Night To End". The line goes: "In dark delicious dreams of you I'll drown". I just very much like that line, so I took "delicious dreams" from it.
7. What's your favourite holiday, and why?: Christmas, because I love the snow and the hope that maybe, maybe it will snow that day is fun. Plus, the presents.
8. Favourite three books (besides Harry Potter):Kushiel's Dart, Winter Rose, and Dangerous Angels.
9. What is or was your favourite and or best subject in school? I was best in English classes because my writing was rather good. I loved History best, though.
10. Why are you a HP fan? Because there is a sense of such wonderful voyeurism in it. This world is so complete, and the characters are so real, that I feel like I'm looking in on these lives that just play out eternally. Err, sorry for rambling on that one.
11. Which of the Harry Potter books thus far was your favourite, and why?: Oh, definitely Order of the Phoenix, though Prisoner of Azkaban was a close second. I love OotP because I just adore Sirius so much, and though the ending killed me a little bit, it was worth it. It was also the most dramatic and emotional for me, and I love that kind of thing.
12. What would the core of your wand be?: (and be creative; I know JKR said there are only three wand cores, but frankly I think she’s being boring. Check out The Bestiary and have some fun with it) I think it would have a core of Abraxan tail. They're the winged horses that pull the Beauxbatons carriage, and I have always had a thing for winged horses.
13. What House do you honestly think you’d end up in, and why?: Probably Slytherin, though I hate saying it because so many people think that, and in some cases they only think so because it's the "cool" house. I really think I belong there because I have a strong opportunistic streak in me, and I will do almost anything to win in the end.
14. Are you willing to accept cross-gendered votes/stamps?: Yes, I don't mind at all.
15. Anything else we should know?: Not that I can think of, no. Hmm...I write HP fan fiction. I guess I should mention that. My favorite pairings are Draco/Harry and Remus/Sirius.
