3. Location: Central Florida.
4a. Three positive adjectives to describe yourself: Outlandish. Sometimes I am the most out there person in both thoughts and actions, I can't keep my own self straight. Practical. I'm good financially, and I have my priorities in order. Empathetic. I'm very in-tune with other people, particularly when they come to me for help. I've been-there done-that a good portion of the time myself anyways, so I like to think I give sensible advice.
4b. Three negative adjectives to describe yourself: Loud. It's not necessarily a bad thing, but I don't have an inside voice. Oftentimes this makes me one of the most annoying people in the room. Anti-social. I enjoy people, I really do, but it's hard for me to warm up to new people. I don't set out to make friends, it's just that the people I know over time gradually become friends. Sometimes I wish this wasn't so. Vain. I appreciate my good looks, but sometimes I'll catch myself looking in the mirror too long.
5. If you could live anywhere in the world for one year, where would you go, and why?: New York City. I've visited before, and I love the people and the food and the places. There's always so much to do, and I've always enjoyed the romanticism that comes with getting lost in the big city. It's also where I plan to move someday should I be able to afford it, so living there for a year would be a good trial run.
6. Explain the significance/meaning/origin of your username: It's actually the title of a Buffy episode. This was actually a trash account I created simply out of boredom, but after a while I decided it'd be good to use as a permanent LJ.
7. What's your favourite holiday, and why?: I don't know if I have a favorite holiday. I enjoy all holidays, just because they're such feel-good times.
8. Favourite three books (besides Harry Potter): Of Human Bondage, by W. Somerset Maugham. The Power of One, by Bryce Courtenay, and It's A Kinda Funny Story, by Neil Vizzini.
9. What is or was your favourite and or best subject in school? Currently my favorite subject is Ethics. I was introduced to a variety of new ideas in this class, and things I previously know have been given names and situations have principles and it brought my world into a new perspective. However, up until college my favorite class had always been English, because I believe myself to be an excellent writer and I love writing for the sake of writing.
10. If you could ask JKR one question, what would it be? How did George manage to go on without Fred?
11. Which of the Harry Potter books thus far was your favourite, and why?: The Deathly Hallows. The characters all came into their own rather splendidly, and JKR introduced several new settings and characters that almost completed my mental picture of her world. It was also one of the most brilliantly written books I've ever read, in my opinion.
12. If you could have the power to perform one spell, and only one spell, absolutely flawlessly for the rest of your life, what would it be and why? I'd love to be able to Apparate, just so I wouldn't need to use my car anymore. Not to mention I'd always be punctual.
13. What House do you honestly think you’d end up in, and why?: People tell me my do-good attitude and bravery should wind me up in Gryffindor, but my love of learning and curiosity always had me drawn towards Ravenclaw.
